A Brief History of British Cars

British cars have a long history. Fiat 127s were very popular in the UK and the Renault 5 and Volkswagen Polo were also very popular. These cars were made in Britain and exported around the world. The Fiat 127 continued to be popular in the UK into the 1980s, but in the late 1970s the Fiat 125 was replaced by the new-generation Polonez hatchback.
