A car is a four-wheeled, motorized vehicle that is used for transportation. Most definitions state that a car is one that runs on roads, seats one to eight people, has four wheels, and is primarily used to transport people. The term car is often used to describe many types of vehicles, including trucks, motorcycles, and passenger cars. There are many different types of cars, and some cars are classified as classics, while others are more modern and high-tech.

There are several types of lights on a car. The headlights are the most common, and they are responsible for making the car visible to other drivers. Depending on the jurisdiction, a car may also have daytime running lights, which are optional. Other lights, such as red brake lights or amber turn signal lights, are often required. Adding side marker lights can also improve visibility. A car may also have interior lights, which are typically fitted in the driver’s compartment.

The movie Cars is a family friendly film about the lives of talking vehicles. In the first installment, Lightning McQueen, a conceited rookie in the Piston Cup racing championship, accidentally detours on Route 66 to Radiator Springs. In Radiator Springs, he meets a new friend named Mater and falls in love. Several famous actors lend their voices to the characters in the movie. The cast includes Paul Newman, Tony Shaloub, and Michael Keaton.

While Cars has become a classic, it has had its critics and audiences scoffing. In fact, some critics have said that Cars 2 was a bad sequel, a movie that would make Parasite look like an Oscar-winning film. Still, the film remains one of my personal favorites. Before World War II, Japan had limited car production, with most vehicles being three-wheeled. But, with the aid of European companies, the Japanese created a variety of different types of vehicles. For example, Isuzu developed the Wolseley A-9 in 1922, while Mitsubishi produced a Mitsubishi Model A based on a Fiat vehicle. Nissan and Toyota also began as non-automotive companies before the war. Mazda and Suzuki also entered the automotive business during the 1950s. During this time, Toyoda converted his loomworks into a car manufacturing company, resulting in the creation of the Toyota Motor Corporation.

In addition to the first and second movies, there have been numerous spin-offs and TV shows made from the Cars franchise. The Planes movie franchise, which started in 2000, lasted for two movies before being cancelled due to the closure of Disneytoon Studios. The Cars movie franchise has earned over $1 billion worldwide and over $1 billion in merchandise sales. The sequel, Cars 3, was released on June 16, 2017.
